According to GIA, this growth is driven by the globalization trend and by the increasing mobility of the workforce, thereby further enhancing the demand for translation and interpretation services. An increasing complexity of products is also contributing to the growth in demand for documentation in domestic as well as regional languages.

The new market research report identifies the United States as the single largest market for language translation and interpretation services. Given the presence of a sizeable number of immigrants in the country, demand for language services emerges from their need to translate documents such as marriage and birth certificates as well as legal documentation and diplomas, as noted in a recent PRWeb article.

The report also indicates that demand is emerging from the local community, where there is a growing need for interpretation services for legal and medical appointments.
