City of Anaheim, CA, to offer Spanish language interpretation services at council meetings

The Anaheim City Council has unanimously approved the addition of Spanish language interpreting services at all future City Council meetings for a one-year trial period.

City staff will provide the Spanish language interpreter services during the public comment portion of the meeting, for anyone wishing to address the Council directly.

· Interpretation services are also available for anyone visiting City Hall, directly through city employees or through an over-the-phone interpreting service. Approximately nine languages are spoken by City employees certified in their respective language.
