The National Capital Area Translators Association Regional Conference 2012: Translating Today’s Trends into Tomorrow’s Successes.
The NCATA Regional Conference will feature five sessions plus an informative keynote address to help you grow and manage your translation or interpreting business today and in the future.
Nataly Kelly will be the Keynote Speaker. Ms. Kelly is an advisor in the areas of language services and international business. She is the Chief Research Officer at Common Sense Advisory, an independent market research firm dedicated to language services and technology, located in the Boston area. A former Fulbright scholar in Ecuador, she is a certified Spanish court interpreter.
Ms. Kelly is also is co-author along with Jost Zetzsche of the book "Found in Translation: How Language Shapes Our Lives and Transforms the World," which was just released by Penguin Books on October 2.
The five sessions featured at the conference will tap a plethora of experts unique to the Washington, D.C. region on topics ranging from translation technology; working with U.S. federal government, and global financial institutions; developing and honing interpretation skills; marketing; voice recognition technology; and more!
