Michigan Translators and Interpreters Network to hold Conference on Interpreting and Translation: “Work Locally, Think Globally”

The Michigan Translators/Interpreters Network (MiTiN) invites you to their third regional conference on interpreting and translation on October 13, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Novi, MI.

This year's keynote speakers are Harry Obst, interpreter to seven United States presidents, and author of the book "White House Interpreter: The Art of Interpretation," and Nataly Kelly, author, translator, interpreter, and Chief Research Officer at Common Sense Advisory, a market research firm dedicated to language services and technology.

The conference is of interest to:

  • Seasoned professional interpreters and translators,
  • Those looking into interpreting or translating as a career,
  • Those who use interpreting and translation services in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
