9th International Workshop on Spoken Language Translation
The International Workshop on Spoken Language Translation (IWSLT) is a yearly scientific workshop, associated with an open evaluation campaign on spoken language translation, where both scientific papers and system descriptions are presented. The workshop will take place this year in Hong Kong on December 6-7, 2012.
The IWSLT offers challenging research tasks and open benchmarks to develop and test speech recognition and machine translation technology.
The workshop invites submissions of scientific papers to be published in the event proceedings and presented in dedicated technical sessions of the IWSLT, either in oral or poster form.
Participants are welcomed to submit high quality contributions covering theoretical and practical issues concerning automatic speech recognition and machine translation that are applied to spoken language translation.
Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed. Authors of accepted papers are requested to present their paper at the workshop.
